One of the front Kings had leaked some oil in the box and when I called Evo to talk to them about this, they said to go ahead and mount them and if there is an issue with them, to box them up and send them to King! Really? No way you can just take care of that for me? I would hate to put you out after spending 6k on a lift. The arms are beefy.probably the only thing beside the king shocks that I am impressed with. The stuff that is powdercoated is so thin that it chips easily. NO way I would drive this on the highway without welding it.NO WAY! The brackets do not come painted or powdercoated.i asked them why and was told that because most people weld the "bolt on" kit on and it makes it easier to paint afterward. The passenger side is the worst.held on by two 1/2 inch bolts through only one side of the frame and both rely on the shabby ill fitting flag nuts that are nearly impossible to get into place. IM 90% done with it and between the so-so fit and the lack of actual hardware holding the arm brackets onto the frame, I will definintely be welding the brackets on. but I call the tech dude so many times just to be sure that I'm using the right hardware so when i get to the end of the project, it doesn't fall off or I find that I used something earlier that I need now, I no crap have called them at least 10 times throughout this process.Almost every time, he asks me if I am welding it or bolting it.When I told him that IM bolting it, He always said, "you are doing it the hard way".s a bolt on or weld on? I have built many jeeps and am pretty confident in my ability to bolt on a lift. The instructions are in black and white and look like a child took them. "use supplied hardware" is used all over the place. They are right.you will be getting a lot of bags of bolts.too bad not a fricking one of them is labeled as to what they are for.now this wouldnt be such a big deal if the 4 pages of vague at best instructions gave some clue as to what goes to what. It is billed as a bolt-on coilover and long arm kit. I decided on the Evo from what I saw it could do offroad and after talking to their reps at the Expo, i decided that this was the lift for me. (talk to Marcus.what an awesome guy for both prices and knowlege!) Ordered all of my stuff from River City Offroad. I further decided to get the Untimate Dana 60s and an atlas. I decided on the Evo Long Arm Double D Pro with coilovers. So.I went to MOAB Easter Jeep Safari this year.Having just sold my buggy, I was looking for ideas for a JKU build.
